Biography

Sydney Einarson Bata, from Grafton, North Dakota, graduated from North Dakota State University in December of 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Science. She graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law in August 2020.While at UND Law, Sydney was chosen to attend a summit on agricultural laws at Georgetown University.

Bata started her career at Einarson Law Office as a Law Clerk and a Legal Assistant in May of 2016. She has been a trained mediator since May 2016, licensed attorney in North Dakota since April 2021, a certified parenting investigator since 2022, and a licensed attorney in Minnesota since September 2023. Sydney mediates for the North Dakota Family Mediation Program and is on the roster of qualified parenting investigators in North Dakota.

As a child of divorce, Sydney is passionate about all family law matters and enjoys helping clients through those difficult times.

Sydney has spent time volunteering at Homeward Animal Shelter. She organized teams and raised money for the Out of the Darkness Walk and Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Sydney has been a part of the Adams Development Committee, assisted with the annual Fire Department Fundraiser in Adams, and is a member of the Park River Area School Board. She has also done legal presentations at area high schools, the local public library, and a local bank.

Sydney lives in Adams, North Dakota, with her husband and their children. In her free time, she likes to read, paint, travel and spend time with her family.
